This summer WATERAGRI partners from University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences participated at Sommercampus 2023 LFS in Lower Austria.
The workshop is an annual event of all agricultural schools in Lower Austria where experiences, new developments and challenges of the future are shared among participants. The event comprises of workshops, each dedicated to specific themes, fostering engaging discussions on a range of topics such as the Green Deal, erosion control, optimal fertilization techniques, and innovative crop cultivation methods. In addition, after the lectures, field trips to different experimental fields in the area are also organized.
This year, Sommercampus was held on August 28th in Lower Austria. It brought together students, school teachers, scientists, representatives of chambers of agriculture, and local and regional governments. With an audience of approximately 200 individuals, it was a remarkable congregation at the regional level.
WATERAGRI representatives from University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences enjoyed the event, exchanged ideas and experience in sustainable agricultural practices with other participants and held presentation of the WATERAGRI project.
