Recently, at the Train the Trainer workshop held from September 18th to 22nd, 2023, in Vienna, Austria, organized by BECBA (Boosting Employability through Circularity of Biowaste in rural Areas), Erasmus+ EU project, Eriona Canga, from alchemia-nova (ALCN) presented WATERAGRI project.
Eriona delivered a compelling lecture tailored to a diverse audience comprising university representatives, farmers, NGO members, and youth entrepreneurs from Greece, Albania, Kosovo, and Austria. With a keen focus on fostering circularity within water management, her presentation titled “The Circularity of Water and Nutrients in Agriculture – How can we recover nutrients from agricultural waters using Nature-based Solutions, and reuse them as fertilizer?” captivated the audience’s attention.
For WATERAGRI stakeholders, Eriona’s participation in the BECBA workshop reaffirms WATERAGRI‘s commitment to driving positive change within rural communities by harnessing the power of collaboration, innovation, and sustainable practices. By engaging with stakeholders across borders and disciplines, WATERAGRI continues to pave the way for a more resilient and environmentally conscious agricultural sector.
