The WATERAGRI project has been highlighted in the latest EU CAP Network brochure as a prime example of good practice in circular water solutions. This recognition underscores the project’s innovative approaches in water management, particularly in better water and nutrient retention within small agricultural catchment areas.

This achievement is particularly thanks to Eriona Canga, a partner in the WATERAGRI project from alchemia-nova, who actively participated in the EU CAP Network Workshop ‘Circular Water Management’ held on 12-13 March 2024. Her contributions and insights during the workshop were instrumental in showcasing WATERAGRI‘s innovative solutions on a broader European platform. The inclusion of WATERAGRI in this prestigious brochure is a testament to the project’s impact and its commitment to promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

As the WATERAGRI project concluded in April 2024, its outcomes have proven to be highly exploitable for a wide range of stakeholders, including farmers, researchers, decision-makers, and the general public. The project’s innovative water management solutions are now available for adoption and further development, offering valuable tools and insights to enhance sustainable agricultural practices. The recognition by the EU CAP Network also highlights the ongoing potential of WATERAGRI‘s results to make a lasting impact on water management and agriculture in Europe.
