In a stride towards fostering knowledge exchange and nurturing the next generation of agricultural leaders, WATERAGRI partners Canale Emiliagno Romagnolo (CER) and University of Bologna (UNIBO) recently organized Open Days at the WATERAGRI Italian pilot site. Held on November 29, 2023, this event welcomed 20 students from the University of Bologna to delve into the world of sustainable agriculture.
The students had the privilege of being hosted by experts in the field, including Francesco Cavazza from CER, Acqua Campus employees, and Stevo Lavrnić from UNIBO. During the Open Days, the students were showcased WATERAGRI solutions currently testing at the Italian pilot site. This is an important event as it represents a bridge connecting academia with real-world solutions. Experience from the Italian pilot site left a lasting impression on the students, inspiring them to envision a future where technology and agriculture seamlessly converge.
In the spirit of knowledge sharing and collaborative growth, the WATERAGRI Italian pilot site Open Days marked a significant milestone in the journey towards a more sustainable and resilient agricultural future.
